Elect Eve for Rancho Mirage City Council on Nov 3rd 2026

At 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, DAP Health marked a meaningful milestone with the ceremonial groundbreaking for its upcoming new women’s health clinic at its Sunrise campus headquarters in Palm Springs. It was an intimate, powerful gathering that reflected commitment, celebration, and community.
Held in the very space where the clinic will soon stand — which literally remains an active, dirt-filled construction zone — the event brought DAP Health CEO David Brinkman and members of the Philanthropy Department together with donors, supporters, and community leaders for a moment that felt both personal and forward-looking.

As longtime DAP Health Board Chair Patrick Jordan concludes his distinguished service, former Co-Vice Chair Eve Fromberg Edelstein, Esq., steps into the role with vision and resolve — supported by remaining Vice Chair Kevin Bass.
When Eve Fromberg Edelstein, Esq., became the new chair of DAP Health’s board of directors last May, it wasn’t a changing of the guard. It was more a passing of the baton. “Changing of the guard sounds like things are going to be dramatically different,” says Kevin Bass, current vice chair. “The leadership style may change a little, but we all work in tandem and the basic principles of what we do remains the same.”

Two months after a Rancho Mirage City Council member abruptly resigned, the remaining members unanimously voted Friday to replace her by appointing Eve Fromberg Edelstein, a local attorney and DAP Health board member.
Fromberg Edelstein will serve through 2026, the end of former member Meg Marker's original term. The seat will be on that year's ballot under the normal schedule.

Women's health care services were always available at DAP Health, but once it expanded and had so many more resources under its belt, the organization wanted to address gaps and bring "our knowledge of what we did for the HIV/AIDS population to the women's health care crisis," Women of Impact co-chair Eve Fromberg-Edelstein, Esq., said.
